Adikavi Nannaya University was established in March 2006 through the Government of Andhra Pradesh Act No. 28 of 2006 at Rajahmundry. The AKNU is a unique addition to the existing Universities in India. Adikavi Nannaya University is named after Adikavi of Telugu literature Nannayabhatta who is first attested author of a text composed in the Telugu Language. The AKNU University attends to the educational need of both East & West Godavari districts. In the new millennium when the paradigm has shifted to making India a Knowledge society, Adikavi Nannaya strives to be an active contributor to the ever-expanding field of knowledge. The Adikavi Nannaya University initiated a program in Geo-Informatics and Petroleum Exploration, the first of its kind in Andhra Pradesh and one of the few in the country. In the second phase, keeping in view of the government policy of encouraging five-year integrated courses, the university designed and offered a new course in Mathematics and Computing, with the objective of providing trained programmes to the I.T. industry.

Adikavi Nannaya University Revaluation Results 2019
Students who want to evaluate their examination papers are required to apply in a specific format. Students must submit the amount of RS. 750 for each subject of their respective course and must handover the applied slip to the concerned branch Principal/ HOD. Students who have applied for the revaluation need not wait for the revaluation results. They are directly eligible to appear for the next examination as per the university rules. If students want to obtain the photocopies of the answer scripts they have to pay Rs.1000. If there is any correction in the result card, the candidate must report to the controller of examinations within 5 days from the date of the publication of the result.
