About Annamalai University
In order to educate the poor and to promote Tamil literature, Sri Minakshi college, Sri Minakshi Tamil college, and Sri Minakshi Sanskrit college were set up by entrepreneur rajah Sir S.R.M Annamalai Chettiyar in the Twenties.
