CLAT Result 2019
The CLAT Merit List will be released soon once the candidates are done with the examination. About CLAT Exam 2019
National Law University Odisha will be conducting the CLAT 2019 exam for the candidates. The exam will be conducted on 26th May 2019 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The CLAT UG Exam is for a total of 200 marks and the questions are asked from English, General Knowledge, ReasoningLegalal Aptitude & Maths. The CLAT PG Exam is conducted for a total of 150 marks. This exam is the national level law entrance exam for the admissions to Undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes on offer at the CLAT participating NLU. This year the CLAT 2019 exam will be conducted for the admissions to as many as 21 NLU with additional to Dharmashastra National Law University Jabalpur and Himachal Pradesh National Law University Shimla.
The CLAT 2019 exam will be an offline exam which will be held in over 65 examination centers across India. The candidates who get good CLAT Score will be valid for the admissions into the 21 NLUs Participating in CLAT along with the other over 25 private Law Schools. The candidates must know that the score of CLAT 2019 will be the basis for the admission in the law universities that are offering various UG & PG programmes like BA LLB, BCom LLB, BSc LLB & LLM Programs.

CLAT is the Common Law Admission Test which is conducted for the admission into 21 National Law Universities in India. Other than 21 universities there are 43 other educational institutions and two public sector institutions. The CLAT exam is taken after the 12th grade for the admissions to the integrated undergraduate programme in Law and after Graduation in Law for Master of Law (LL.M) programmes conducted by the law universities. The CLAT Exam is a two-hour exam which consists of an objective type covering questions on Elementary Mathematics or Numerical Ability, English with comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Legal Awareness, and Logical Reasoning.
For the CLAT Exam only the Indian Nationals and NRIs can appear. The foreign nationals desirous of taking admission to any course in any of the participating Law Universities may directly contact the concerned university having seats for foreign nations. Before the introduction of CLAT, the autonomous law schools in India used to conduct their own separate entrance test requiring the candidates to prepare for each test separately.
How to Check CLAT Result 2019
- Visit the official website of Consortium of National Law Universities i.e clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in.
- In the home page, you can get the Result link on the top.
- Click on the result link.
- Then login into your account with your name and password.
- Then enter your hall ticket number or Roll Number and date of birth.
- Then click on the submit button.
- The results will appear on the screen.
- Take the printout of the result until the official scorecard is released by the board.

Tie Breaker Criteria in CLAT Result 2019
The CLAT Score 2019 for both UG and PG exam will be evaluated using the official marking scheme which is +1 mark for each correct answer and -0.25 marks for each wrong answer. If the candidate score the same marks and the other candidate also score the same marks, then the tiebreaker is done based on below criteria
- Candidate having higher marks in CLAT 2019 will be taken into consideration at a higher rank than the other.
- Candidate older in Age will be offered higher rank than the younger ones.
- The tie will be broken by the computerized draw of lots according to which the name from the lot will be offered a higher position than those who got the equal marks.
CLAT Cut Off Marks 2019
Once the CLAT Result 2019 is released by the board, the CLAT Committee will release the cutoff for the candidates to seek the admission in the law programmes. The CLAT Cut off Marks 2019 will be determined by the exam committee keeping in mind the result and merit list of the law entrance exam. The Cut off Marks for the CLAT depends on the various factors like minimum marks, Maximum Marks, the total number of exam takers and the number of vacant seats.
