SSC Stenographer Results 2019
The SSC Stenographer Examination was conducted in two phases. The examination dates for the first phase i.e computer based are provided in this article. The examination dates for the skill test has yet to be announced by the Staff Selection Commission Board. The exam was conducted from 05th February 2019 to 08th February 2019. The candidates who have got shortlisted for this exam can appear for the Skill test. Once the Skill Test is completed the SSC Stenographer Final Result will be declared by the SSC Board on their official website. About SSC Stenographer Recruitment
The Staff Selection Commission has released the online applications for the candidates for the post of Stenographer Grade C & D Posts. The candidates who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria for the SSC Stenographer Recruitment has applied for the application form online from 22nd October 2018 to 19th November 2019. The written examination was conducted from 05th February 2019 to 08th February 2019.
About SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Examination
The SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Exam was conducted by the SSC Board from 05th February 2019 to 08th February 2019. The exam was conducted in 107 centers across the country. A total of 4 lakhs+ students have registered for the exam out of which only 43% of the students have attended the examination. As per the latest notification released by the SSC Board, the tentative date for the release of the SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Results 2019 will be 15th April 2019. The candidates who got shortlisted will have to appear for the Skill Test. Once the candidate completes the Skill test, the SSC Stenographer Final Result will be released by the Staff Selection Commission Board.

SSC Stenographer Cut Off Marks 2019
The cutoff marks are the minimum qualifying marks for the candidates to score so that they can qualify for the next round of the selection process. The SSC Stenographer Cut Off Marks will be released along with the SSC Stenographer Grade C & Grade D Results. The candidates who are securing equal or more results than the cutoff marks in the Computer-Based examination as per their reservation will be selected for the skill test. SSC Stenographer Result 2019 for CBT
The computer-based test of SSC Stenographer is for a total of 200 marks. The exam covers all the four sections like General Intelligence, General Awareness, English Language & Comprehension. The SSC Stenographer CBT results will be decided based on the below qualifying marks as per the SSC Board.
The SSC Stenographer Result of CBT will be calculated as
- For each correct answer, one mark is allotted for the candidate
- For each Wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted.
- The Total marks of the CBT exam = Number of Correct answer (X) 1 – Number of Incorrect answers * 0.25

The marks of the candidates who have attended the SSC Stenographer Grade C & Grade D Exam will be released after the declaration of the SSC Stenographer Result 2019. SSC Stenographer 2019 Result for Skill Test
The candidates who have completed their computer-based test, the Staff Selection Commission board will release the Admit Card for the Skill Test. The Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of SSC. Once the Skill test is conducted, the SSC Board will release the results as well as the cutoff marks for the exam on their official website.
Tie-Breaking Criteria while preparing Merit List
There are some cases where two or more candidates obtain equal marks, then the tie can be resolved by taking the following rules into consideration.
- Computer Based Examination Marks
- Skill Test Examination Marks
- Date of Birth with older candidates placed higher
- Alphabetical order in which the first name of the candidates appears.
Probation Period after the Final Selection Process
The candidates who have qualified the computer-based test and skill test will be treated as final selected students. They have passed the cutoff marks that is decided by the Staff Selection Commission Board. Once the final selection of the candidate is done, the candidate has to serve the probation period for two years. During the probation period, they have to be careful with the work. Once they complete the probation period they SSC board will conduct the exam to assess the candidate.
