About Telangana Public Service Commission

To select the applicants for civil service jobs in Telangana, Constitution of India has created a Telangana State Public Service Commission. It was established in the year 2014. It is the youngest state commission. Earlier it was called as Hyderabad public service commission and later it was merged with AP Public Service Commission. After Telangana State got bifurcated from Andhra Pradesh State, the constitution of India has made APPSC for Andhra and TS PSC for Telangana State. The official website of Telangana State Public Service Commission was launched on 11^th April 2019 by the governor of Telangana State E.S.L. Narasimhan.

Job Description in Telangana PSC Board

This year Telangana State Public Service Commission Board will recruitment all the eligible candidate’s various group 1, group 2, group 3 and group 4 Government Jobs. The Official Notification is yet to be released by Telangana State Public Service Commission Board. The TSPSC Exam will be held across Telangana at various examination centers on prescribed dates. The TSPSC Recruitment Exam is an Online exam to fill available vacancies in various group vacancies in Telangana.

Candidates who are looking forward to filling TS PSC group 1 Vacancies should have a minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 36 years. Age relaxation will be provided to the candidates with special categories based on their reservation as per TS PSC Board. Aspirants who are trying to fill the available vacancies in Telangana State Public Service Commission Group 2 Notification, should have a minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 42 years.

Education Qualifications for TSPSC Exam

For all posts in Group 1

If you are looking forward to fill the available vacancies which come under group 1, then you must have a Bachelor’s degree. The Telangana State Public Service Commission Group 1 exam consists of 900 marks which are divided into 6 papers. The Group 1 Telangana Public Service Commission exam includes subjects like General Studies, History, Geography, Economics, Science, Mathematics and Telangana Movement. Candidates who have qualified the written exam will have an interview which would be for 100 marks.

Posts which come under Group 2

Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree if they want to fill the available vacancies for the Posts in TS PSC Group 2. This board consists of 4 papers. Group 2 include subjects like General Studies, Economics, History and Telangana Movement which is followed by an Interview. Candidates should have a minimum age of 18 and maximum age of 42 if they are applying for Telangana PSC Group 2 exam

For Group 3 Posts

Telangana State Public Service Commission Group 3 consists of non-gazette posts. If a candidate is trying to fill available vacancies in TSPSC Group 3, they must have done at least an intermediate degree. Group TS PSC exam consists of 3 papers which cover topics like History, General Studies, and Economics. There won’t be an interview for the candidates who are attending TSPSC Group 3 Exam. The minimum age to apply for Telangana PSC Group is 18 years and maximum age is 36 years

Group D Posts

The Telangana State Public Service Commission board will release a huge number of vacancies for various Group 4 posts. Candidates will select for Group 4 jobs, if they have passed the written examination and personal interview. The TS PSC Group 4 exam consists of 300 marks, which has General Studies and Secretarial Abilities. The maximum age to apply for TSPSC Group 4 is 36 and the minimum age is 18 years. Candidates who are applying for TS PSC Group 4 must have passed at least intermediate.
